Boarding Information

Pickwick offers full care board, pony care board, and field board. All board packages include basic maintenance including stall, feed, water, hay, turnout, and scheduling of routine farrier, dentist, and veterinarian services. Board bill will be posted at the start of each month, and is to be paid in advance, at the start of each month and no later then the fifth.

Rates are as follows:

Full Care

Box stall, including regular cleaning and bedding; turn out as appropriate; grain feed (not to exceed 10 pounds [approximately 4 scoops] per day) and hay (not to exceed 12 pounds [approximately 4 flakes] per day) distributed twice daily; continual clean water; use of facilities, including cross ties, tack room, rings and outdoor trails; and limited blanketing.

A Plan Board	Clients NOT participating in a monthly lesson plan	$525/month
B Plan Board	Clients ENROLLED in monthly lesson plan	$475/month

Pony Care

Standing stall, including regular cleaning and bedding; turn out as appropriate, grain feed (not to exceed ten pounds [approximately 4 scoops] per day) and hay (not to exceed 12 pounds [approximately 4 flakes] per day}distributed twice daily; continual clean water; use of facility, including cross ties, tack room, rings and outdoor trails; limited blanketing.

SL Plan

Provided ONLY for clients in lesson plan

$400/month

Field Care

Full time turn out with free choice shelter and forage; grain feed (not to exceed 12 pounds [approximately 4 scoops] per day) twice daily; continual clean water; use of facilities, including cross ties, tack room, rings and outdoor trails; and limited blanketing.

Service Charges

Late Fee ($10) - charged for any bill not paid in part by the 5th of each month, to be added again at the 15th and the 25th. If no payment is received prior to the end of the month, management is entitled to a lien against the horse for the amount due and shall enforce lien and sell horse for amount due, according to the appropriate laws of Maryland.

Bounced Check - $30.00

You can use Adobe Acrobat Reader and print a copy of the Boarding Contract from a PDF file (Adobe Acrobat plug-in is necessary to read these files). Guidelines & Rules should also be printed, read and followed by each boarder, student and visitor.
